Best wishes for speedy recovery to Sensei and Mr. Jim Malaro

Posted by Jay Villaverde on September 22, 2014 at 3:00pm 0 Comments

Wishing the surgery for Sensei goes well and that he's back on both feet as quickly as possible.

Hoping Mr. Jim Malaro is feeling better after Saturday's tournament. Should have continued the match ala Karate Kid with the crane move ;)

Heal up gentlemen!

Passing of Hanshi William Duessel

Posted by Scott Klinger on August 19, 2014 at 9:44pm 0 Comments

East West Karate is saddened to hear the Passing of Hanshi William Duessel. He was one of the Highest Ranking Black Belts in The United States under Master Kichiro Shimabuku. He was a true Gentleman and Role Model.I pray for his family and students in this time of sadness. He will also never be forgotten because he will live in those he touched through Isshinryu.
